Questi moduli sono i primi prodotti dall’azienda tedesca EXCELERAM appositamente per la piattaforma Intel Sandy Bridge. I moduli della serie Rippler, nelle loro specifiche, annoverano una frequenza di base di 1600MHz con latenze (timing) 9-9-9-24 1t ad un voltaggio Standard JEDEC di 1.50v, il tutto supportato da un profilo XMP (Xtreme Memory Profile).
