[h=2]Major BIOS Updates Allow ASRock X99 Motherboards to Support Intel® Broadwell-E[/h] Translate TAIPEI, Taiwan, April 12, 2016 – Whether you were aware of it before or not, Intel's new line of 14 nanometer die shrink Broadwell-E processors are arriving shortly this year, and ASRock's engineers have already completed uploading new versions of BIOS for their X99 motherboards to support these Intel® Broadwell-E CPUs. Clearly the new chips aren't available in the market yet, but if patience isn't your strong suit, then perhaps you could get a two minute head start by downloading the BIOS and upgrading now. The most unmissable part of Intel® Broadwell-E is the flagship Core i7-6950X, which will be the first deca-core processor for the commercial market. While this new CPU boasts a compelling ten cores and twenty threads architecture, users require a BIOS update for their motherboards to handle it, this update applies to the rest of the Broadwell-E gang, including i7-6900K, i7-6850K and i7-6800K as well. Rest assured that ASRock's former X99 chipset motherboards will all support the new chips. Upgrade now and hold on to your horses until the new CPUs are delivered, just don't hold your breath. Find your X99 model and download the new BIOS here: http://www.asrock.com.tw/mb/index.asp?s=2011-3 -

[D.O.C.P.]: Select this item and the CPU Bus frequency, CPU ratio, and memory settings are auto-optimized. P.S: Prova disabilitare tutti i risparmi energetici della CPU, Cool'n'Quiet e company...
-
-
[D.O.C.P.]: Select this item and the CPU Bus frequency, CPU ratio, and memory settings are auto-optimized. [Manual]: Select this item and the CPU Bus frequency, CPU ratio, and memory settings can be customized. [A.M.P.]: Select this item and the CPU Bus frequency, CPU ratio, and memory settings are optimized by AMP.

Consiglio distribuzione linux - stile red hat e ubuntu
Labview replied to slimer's topic in Linux & MAC
-
Vado a intuito...

[h=2]ASRock Z170M OC Formula Reaches 7025.66 MHz with Intel® Core i7 6700K[/h] TAIPEI, Taiwan, April 1, 2016 – Unless you are caught in a PC system arms race, most motherboards do not necessarily need over the top specifications, especially when you're competition is against the one smirking back at you in the mirror. At this point, forget all of the fancy yet impractical features, abandon those superficial so called designs, and look no further than ASRock Z170M OC Formula – the secret formula to excel yourself in overclocking. Just recently this miniature sized motherboard proved that smaller size doesn't necessarily mean inferior performance. Contradictorily, by pairing ASRock Z170M OC Formula with an Intel® Core i7 6700K processor, the masterful overclocker John Lam hit an unprecedented 7025.66 MHz! Currently ranking number one for the highest frequency with a Core i7 6700K CPU on HWBOT. As the name suggests, ASRock Z170M OC Formula is an mATX sized Skylake motherboard specially built for extreme overclocking. Akin to its bigger brother ASRock Z170 OC Formula, which is also designed by the legendary overclocker Nick Shih, this one is a revamp to make it more compact for clearer signals. Plus several hardware enhancements, such as the ten layer PCB that immensely improves the memory signals, ASRock CPU Cold Bug Killer that prevents the system from crashing under liquid nitrogen's extremely low temperatures. And of course, the regular list of features dubbed OC Formula Kits, the Super Alloy feature set, also an IR PowIRStage PWM, Hyper BCLK Engine, and so on. Consiglio distribuzione linux - stile red hat e ubuntu
Labview replied to slimer's topic in Linux & MAC
